Participation/Breaks-in-Service


Participation

Effective 7/1/2001, Participation begins on the first of the month following 250 Hours of Covered Employment in a Plan Year.

 

Break-in-Service

Effective 7/1/2001, a One- Year Break-in-Service occurs in a Plan Year if your hours are less than 250. If you are not vested, you will cease to be a Participant at the end of the Plan Year and your Vesting and Benefit Service are cancelled.



Waiver of Break-in-Service
Maternity/Paternity Leave Exception

 

Reinstatement of Benefits/Service

If your Vesting and Benefit Service are cancelled due to a Break-in Service, they will be reinstated upon reestablishing Participation before you incur a total of five consecutive One- Year Breaks-in-Service.
