Eligibility

You and your family are eligible in the "Active Employee" category if you are considered an "Eligible Employee" for purposes of health benefits. See the "Retiree Rules" tab for life insurance benefits for retirees.

 

Life Insurance Benefit

Participant - $25,000
Spouse and Dependent Child - $2,000

 

Accidental Death & Dismemberment

In addition to the amount payable for life insurance, for the participant only an additional benefit is available if the death or a dismemberment is caused by an accident. The full AD&D benefit of $5,000 is paid for the loss of life or for any two: hands, feet, eyes, or combination. Half the benefit ($2,500) is paid for the loss of any single hand, foot, or eye. The maximum payable amount is $5,000.
