8. PRESCRIPTION DRUG BENEFIT PROVIDED BY THE TRUST FOR
ELIGIBLE RETIRED PARTICIPANTS AND DEPENDENTS
The Prescription Drug Benefit program is designed to make
your purchase of prescription medication convenient and affordable. The Plan
provides a Retail (walk-in) Pharmacy Program with a network of participating
pharmacies, and a Mail Order Pharmacy Program for your Prescription Drug needs.
The retail and mail order programs are administered by the Pharmaceutical
Provider. Your Prescription Drug Benefit is also described in separate
brochures that provide detailed information on how to use each program. These
brochures are available from the Trust Customer Service Office and the
Administrative Office. In case of ambiguity between those brochures and the
Plan, the terms of the brochures shall govern.
