If you wish to remain on the Teamster’s Prescription Drug program, DO NOT ENROLL IN MEDICARE PART-D.
Your prescription drug program through Express Scripts and Alaska Managed Care will remain unchanged if you do not enroll in Medicare Part-D. If you enroll in Medicare Part-D, you will not be eligible to participate in the Teamster’s Prescription Drug program.
For most of our retirees and surviving spouses, the Teamster’s Plan, which includes a Prescription Drug program, is superior to the Medicare Drug Program.
During the next few months, and well before the filing of Medicare Part-D begins on November 15, 2005, we will be sending you additional information.
